The level of talent of the musicians on Pilies Gatve is astounding. While walking to Vilnius Cathedral one sunny afternoon I am stopped in my tracks by the powerful, haunting voice of Milda Stasaitytė, accompanied by the rest her band, Rhythm Junkies. The entire ensemble presents a cohesive, polished sound that attracts a large crowd. Along with Stasaitytė on vocals, Vytautas Narkevičius on violin
is another standout among this talented group of performers. Of course I have to buy one of the CDs they have for sale and am so glad I did. I always say, put your money where your mouth is and support your local artists.
