I forgot how awesome this song is!  This unrest crucifies my chest! Siouxsie Sioux has this unique talent for raw, passionate yet sublimely profound lyrics. She is quite the story teller! I think all of here have been in her place on more than one occassion!

I think this was the absolutel peak of "old" banshees. I think they spent years and years building up to *this* song, and then they sort of looked around for other things to do. There's a definite break after this album from previous habits and this is basically the most intense song on it. That's what *I* think... yes, I suppose I am a bit pretentious and obsessive...
