As the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 begins in the West Indies, UNICEF, in partnership with the International Cricket Council and UNAIDS has enlisted the help of the world's top cricketers to speak out about the impact of HIV and AIDS on children. Watch and hear what they have to say.
RICKY PONTING is not only the leader of the Australian cricket team, he is also a leader in the fight against AIDS and an advocate for children and young people in particular.

So let's all be gay and kiss each other on the cheeks because we feel like it.
Ponting probably is not used to this custom and has his vote in what he says and how he acts. Also, there isnt a lot of point replying to a comment posted a year ago :).

itslateagain: Yet when a bloke tried to kiss him in India, he reeled off like he'd just been hit in the face. In some cultures to kiss someone on the cheek is a norm. On ya Ponts! What a spokesman! real understanding of the world, or did he do this to make himself feel good??? He's racist scum and has no place promoting such a cause.

Aussies are dirty convict untouchables who were forcibly deported from England. I know Aussies, that hurts you deeply, but it the truth. Who cares if a convict is good in a sport, you are still inferior!
