If the software only allows 40% battery capacity utilization and that range is 2 miles then you would have to triple not double the total capacity multiplier from one battery pack too three in order to get a 6 mile range. Batteries in parallel will increase over all available watts but they equalize voltage across all the packs and the added weight also becomes a variable factor.
@SirTragain This hack may work, but the batteries will need more time to charge (by regenerative braking or downhills)
