*Asian Fashion Inspiration Spring 2011*

Hey guys!

Long time no see!
Before I come to the main topic of this video, I want to say sorry for having been absent for over 3 months (geez, nearly an eternity =.=). As some of you already know, I started university last October. So my first semester is over. It took me quite a while to get used to my new daily life, mainly because I moved away from home. So, whenever I get home, I want to spend as much time with my family and friends as possible. At the end of Febuary/beginning of March, I had my very first finals for which I studied very hard (fyi: they went very well :).
Then my long spring vacation (march to april) started and I went home, where I didn't have a proper computer to work on until recently (I hate making videos on my netbook :D). So I wasn't able to make videos for you.
Anyway, I hope you guys understand my 'little' break from Youtube, but I will try to do better.
However I really want to apologize, specially to those of you who have subscribed to me in these three months, but in the end, we are all just human beings and Superman, aren't we? :)

Soooo~ now to the main topic of this video:

Spring is finally apporaching and so it was time for me to check out Yesstyle's latest trends for this season. Fashionwise I love spring! Florals are coming up again and everything gets more colourful, without being as bright as in summer. So here is a round up of the trends/ideas, I spotted. Please, keep in mind, that these videos always reflect my personal opinion. So they are not completely objective ;)

1) Florals: every spring they come back, just as the real flowers do. However they do present themselves not as like 'in your face' as they did last summer. They are more subtle (also due to the colours, I'll talk about next), but still they make our fashion world a lot brighter :)

2) pastel, powder and ice cream colors are huge this spring! I've seen a lot of light blues and greens, which look very fresh. The powdery colors are like litle remainings from the winter, but they go very well with the soft pastels and ice cream colors.

3) Lace all over the place! Lace is basically everywhere and it doesn't matter, if you have a top, which is just embellished with lace details or if you have got a shirt entirly of this material. It's very girly and romantic and goes very well with the soft spring colours.

4) Polka dots and stripes: specially on cardigans and other shirts

5) crochet detailings such as crochet collars are very popular in asia this spring. They match perfectly with the lace trend
