A meta AMV? YOU HAVE CROSSED THE BOUNDARIES OF ORDER!

Believe me, I know they ran out of funds and were severely limited. I also understand that Misato and Ritsuko are shown (in the series), shall we say, disposed of, in the same way they are in the film. But that doesn't change the fact that alot of cruel and threatening letters were sent to the director (some even appear in the film), so it's hard for me to believe that those threats had little to no impact on the way the film came out.
-
Actually.... the original ending was not what the creator intended. The reason it turned out the way it did was because lack of funds and lack of time. End of Evangelion, since it was a movie that came after the series was finished, did not suffer from the same limitations imposed on the first ending. You can prove this by checking out the special features for the last two episodes of the original series.

Right on. That was hilarious.

GOD YES! it is SO deep, so conected, so much mystery, it is the best show ever!
-
"One thing's for sure, Evangelion SCREWS WITH YOUR MIND!" - I have never heard a truer statement.

I have noted that EOE you either love it otr hate it
Evangelion was a great show but at the end of it even I was wondering what was the point of this? WILL the point was GREAT fights, Great romace and GREAT WTF moments...right?
(does anyone know if Rebuild of evangelion is being translated?

Asuka's not dead...
The movie is the way it is because Anno was going through a deep depression.
There where about two screw you moments...
-
Well, quite simply it's because the movie was made in response to the hundreds of death threats the director received after finishing the series.
So basically he said 'Fine, you want to see Asuka fight more? No problem. But she's going to die horribly. Want to see Misato and Shinji finally come to terms with each other? Okay. But she dies.'
Basically, the whole thing was made as a 'screw you message' to the fans who sent death threats.

I don't understand how anybody could feel this way.
I've seen the EoE at least 27 times and every time I watch it I find another part that makes me stop and go...... "OHHHHH."
It's THAT deep. Every single touch of what you people call "randomness" has some sort of underlying, or apparent meaning and/or symbolism. And the ending scene... My god, it was just so beautiful, as was the rest of the movie.
Definitely one of the best films in cinema history

Okay you two, take your argument elsewhere. The last 12 comments in this thread have had absolutely nothing to do with the video.
As for the quality of Evangelion? That's an opinion. Obviously, your two opinions differ. That doesn't make one of you right and the other wrong. It just means you have different tastes. Leave it at that.

hell considering the average IQ im not suprised of why some people criticize the series for being "confusing", symbolism, metaphysics, psychology.... is it making your head explode? emo? wtf i swear people just use whatever random word to try to simplify something more complex than they can imagine. no wonder this country is going to hell in a hand basket..... entertainment.
