Protests reportedly took place in 1,500 cities, including 100 cities in the United States. Many arrests, some violence, but mostly a nonviolent expression demanding a new system of being human: end corporate rule and governmental corruption and build how to be fully human. Some 3,000 people in Boston, led by Veterans for Peace, marched from Boston Common to the Occupy Boston site at Dewey Square. In unison with many organizations including unions and people of color, we stopped at sites of oppression, Verizon, Hyatt, and most infamously, the Bank of America where this movie is set.
