Dynamic LIVE HD Opera Cinema

RAI Trade and DYNAMIC have launched a new partnership dedicated to the digital cinema.
A series of Italian and European opera productions will be produced and broadcasted LIVE via Satellite in High Definition to cinemas equipped with high definition digital equipment.
The project starts in October 2009 with a great Verdi's Simon Boccanegra LIVE from the beautiful location of Teatro Massimo di Palermo and featuring the great Italian bass Ferruccio Furlanetto as Fiesco, Roberto Frontali in the title role and soprano Amarilli Nizza as Maria.

RAI Trade is a daughter company of RAI (Radio Televisione Italiana ), the Italian State TV Company.
DYNAMIC is the most exclusive Italian label which has been producing CDs and DVDs of Classical Music & Opera for more than 30 years. It favours compositions in world premiere recording or works that stand outside the bounds of traditional repertoires. Dynamic chooses the contents, acquires the rights, films and records the productions, take care of the uplink that sends the signal to the satellite and its link, of the technical tests, of the instructions for the correct reception and of the commercial management.
Rai Trade and Dynamic intend to offer productions from the finest European opera houses or the most renowned venues in Europe broadcasting them live or recorded to European digital cinemas.
