A Preview video between Geelong & St Kilda that I made.

Geelong and St Kilda will play each other in the 2nd game (Round 1) of the 2011 season on a Friday Night on March 25th 2011. It should be a great game.

The cats seem to be the underdogs this year and many people are thinking they are going to fall behind this year, after having a fantastic last 4 years, espically as they have lost Gary Ablett Jnr and Mark Thompson. While St Kilda managed to lose yet another Grand Final last year, which they could have nearly won when they drew in the first Grand Final against Collingwood.

Both teams may struggle a bit at times this year, but Geelong & St Kilda are both still going to be a huge threat to other teams in 2011 and have a chance for the flag.

SUMMARY
These sides have taken part in some enthralling battles in the past few seasons and the stage is set for another gripping encounter at the MCG.

Geelong skipper Cameron Ling and Paul Chapman are in extreme doubt while a question mark hangs over full forward Cam Mooney's health. Justin Koschitzke is the main concern for the Saints with a nagging ankle injury, but Sam Fisher has been cleared after suffering a cheekbone injury in the NAB Cup semi final against Essendon.

Geelong has spent the summer adjusting to new coach Chris Scott's take on the game plan installed by the now-departed Mark Thompson. Will it take some time for them to bed down his new philosophies?

Ross Lyon has spoken of his concern over his side's late pre-season form, but you get the impression there might be a bit of smoke and mirrors about those comments.

The Cats will be a force once again this season, but look ripe for the picking with some big outs.

QUESTION MARKS
How will the Cats' midfield perform without Gary Ablett? What effect the Brownlow Medallist's move to the Gold Coast will have on his old side has been one of the talking points of the off-season.

Will Ross Lyon's new forward structure fire? The coach has been tinkering with a taller set-up over the summer. Justin Koschitzke's fitness may prove key here.

PREDICTION
St Kilda by 6 points.

TOYOTA AFL DREAM TEAM WATCH
In the absence of Ablett, it will be interesting to see how Jimmy Bartel scores. Will he be called upon to do more (Dream Teamers are hoping so) or will he cop more attention from opposition taggers?

The modestly priced Ryan Gamble could prove Dream Team gold if he can slot into the Saints' forward line. He's shown signs of being able to do so during the NAB Cup.
