I keep praying for a miracle

5 people don't think love should be free.

@hybridmoments1980 This version sounds like a shorter version of the 9 min+ which I think is the Tom Molton. Can you tell me what version this is at this link:
/watch?v=Xp00100RhQ8. If the link does not work the name of the video is "Double Exposure - My Love Is Free (Walter Gibbons mix) "

Excellent music from a great era of songs!

Love was Free all over NYC: PLATOS, PARADISE GARAGE,PALLADIUM,ZOO,XENON,ROS

MAN!!! WHY CAN'T ARTISTS TODAY MAKE MUSIC ABOUT THE JOY OF BEING ALIVE, AND PARTYING? EVERYBODY'S A GANGSTER AND TRYING TO KILL SOMEONE. SUCH A SHAME.

Everytime i look at the Warhols prints he did for and of my Mother, i think of all the stories she use to tell me what went down in Studio 54, and i just think, god i wish i was old enough to live through that period

WOW MY CLUBS were studio 54, leviticas, paladium, bogarts, Platos'retreat (yup they had music there) roseland, silver shadow, red parrot, Xenon, Bentley's Broadway 96, Copa Cabana, Yes I was very busy in 70's, wow u don't see the word "discotheques" anymore cause they word is associated with disco. Well too bad, I am a 70's R&B/DISCO person and disco will always be here no matter what.

With all due respect to Tom, this is the "Walter Gibbons Mix". From Double Exposure, Love Committee, Bettye Lavette, and Loleatta Holloway, Walter was renowned for completely restructuring and rebuilding his song projects.

Loved partying off of this song....didn't have to watch your back - back in the day......good times...
Probably more than any other record this one puts me in mind of the Glory that was NYC in the late 70's and early 80's. I still LIVE for the memories of my nights at the Paradise Garage, but that incredible sound this joint tipifies was EVERYWHERE in NY back then, I don't think I stopped dancing for about six years straight! How could I (how could anyone?) when the music that surrounded us was this damn good!! To this day, my soul SOARS when I hear this record - thank you so much for posting!!
