  • @Turbo617 Get your facts straight before you make ignorant comments. This cat is a Turkish Van. That particular breed of cat is a natural swimmer and actually enjoys being in the water significantly more than other breeds. Secondly, they're not just randomly putting it in the water for the hell of it. This cat had been suffering from paralysis in her leg and were giving it hydrotherapy in order to teach her how to walk again, going through the motions in a safer environment than on dry land.

  • people who call this animal abuse, don't know what that really is.

  • @melizmatea Any type of therapy is distressing. Any human who has been through therapy can tell you that.

  • @bandgeek8986 totaly right! exept the fact that this is a Kurd and Armenian cat !! then turk barbarians invaded us... but it's another story..

  • @melizmatea obviously she is in distress. she is paralyzed and in pain from her injuries. and its natural that she is scared

  • Okay, if this worked, great, but isn't there another type of therapy that won't be like torture for the cat? Just because its breed is supposedly a natural swimmer doesn't mean it enjoys the water, or at least that this one enjoys the water. Clearly it doesn't. It's obviously in distress & I find it painful to watch. Do the benefits outweigh the incredible stress the cat is being put through? Even if it's worth it in the end, I don't think this video does your business any favours.

  • People who deal with physio complain just like that cat. Because it's hard, and it does take effort. But when the effort pays off - it's worth it. I'm glad your boy is doing better now!

  • i like the colors of that cat -brown and white

  • ijosdeputa no ven ke el gato sufre

  • We have Vans, but we don't Make them swim...Shame...

  • watch animal planet on cat 101 this is a swimming cat and love water, and cat which quite like a dog

  • That's great that she overcame the paralysis. I know some people may not have read the info and were hating on the video because it is a bit painful to hear her meows...but in the end, it's only to help her, and saved her :)
