A mother protects her cubs by going toe to toe with a much bigger bear. Coastal Brown Bears I filmed in Alaska a few years ago.

  • so how did the smaller bear win the fight or did no bear win?

  • The smaller bear definitely won. Notice how after the fight, the larger bear wouldn't look her in the eye? That's his way of saying 'sorry, you win'.

  • @PashaGolikov ive seen bulls lift up cars easily no effort at all in those spanish bull run clips, i dont know what kind of bulls your talking about but i can assure you bulls are not soft, maybe your thinking about cows

  • That was a brave mom, the male absolutely dwarfed her!

  • I'm surprised that neither of the bears saw you!

Could you imagine what would if Momma Bear saw you, too?

  • i think the male bear was just lookin to get laid and didnt want to fight. she started it

  • cause nature gave her special power to protect the kids - bear realises that.

  • Yeah at 1:23 she is way smaller than the male... You gota wonder why he did not demolish her... Interesting

  • actually youre both ignorant. a "siverian"(i think you meant SIBERIAN)tiger absolutely cannot take on a bear. maybe a sloth bear but not a brown bear, grizzly bear, kodiak, polar. etc. ive seen more than one video of black bears defeating grown lions as well as tigers. theyre just too damn strong. as far as what PashaGolikov said about fighting an elephant, ive never heard anything more retarded than that. an elephant could kill a bear with its trunk alone. 1000-1500 lbs vs. 10,000-12,000 lbs??

  • that's the Power Of Intent..

power of intent to defend bear-cubs is stronger than power of intent of the male to kill them for food in this case..

there are a lot of similar examples in Nature when a smaller wins..

  • LOL, you're an idiot for these bears dude. An elephant would destroy a bear, as would rhino or a hippo. Hell, even a Siverian Tiger could take a bear. A bull's size and horns could cause problems for a bear as well, I don't know WTF you're on.
