Lisa Miskovsky - Still Alive (Mirrors Edge OST)

I have changed, I have changed
Just like you, just like you
For how long, for how long
Must I wait, I know there's something wrong
The concrete heart isn't beating
And you've tried to make it come alive
No shadows, just red lights
Now I'm here to rescue you

Ooh, Still Alive, I'm Still Alive
I cannot apologize, no. (x2)

So silent, no violence
But inside my head, so loud and clear
Youre screaming, you're screaming
Covered up with a smile, I've learned to fear
Just sunshine and blue sky
Is this all we get, for living here
Come fire, come fire
Let it burn and love come racing through

Ooh, Still Alive, I'm Still Alive
I cannot apologize, no. (x2)

I've learned to lose
I've learned to win
I've turned my face against the wind
I will move fast
I will move slow
take me away I have to go

Ooh, Still Alive, I'm Still Alive
I cannot apologize, no. (x4)

Best regards

One of the best songs I've ever heard, for one of the best games I've ever played.

Why is it that the first in a good puzzle series is always so short. I wish this game was longer.

Yeah, well they've been saying it's been in development for bloody ages now, I think it's kind of touch and go

Actually, I looked through some recent sites, and some claim that Mirror's Edge 2 is in fact in development right now(one site goes as far as to say that they have confirmation on it). It will in that case be released for the next-gen consoles.

We'll just have to see if it's true and hope they fixed the annoying bits that the first one had ;)

Well, it did have a good plot laid out, the first Mirror's edge had 1/3 of the original plot in it. It was always planned as a trillogy, but after the reception the first game got with all the negative reviews and what not it was put on ice until they could fix the problems of the gameplay without completely redoing it(they wanted to keep the original feel). And so it remains in limbo.

It was a cool experiment with the freerunning, but in the end it didn't work out.

I dunno, I did love Mirrors Edge, but it does kinda seem like a one off. The game had really cool visuals and a refreshing gameplay system but I don't think it could really kick off into a series. I just wish it had a storyline.
