walter pidgeon would appear with arlene in dinner at eight in 1966 which the first remake of dinner at eight.

Walter is fibbing in one of his replies. At 1:20, when asked if he sang, the answer was no, but he was a classically trained baritone, having trained at the New England Conservatory of Music. He even released some 78rpm records in the 20s. He had a great voice. A local boy who did good!
