@rickpidgeon123 your great uncle starred in one of my favorite movies - Mrs. Miniver. He's a great actor.

walter pidgeon would appear with arlene in dinner at eight in 1966 which the first remake of dinner at eight.

Walter is fibbing in one of his replies. At 1:20, when asked if he sang, the answer was no, but he was a classically trained baritone, having trained at the New England Conservatory of Music. He even released some 78rpm records in the 20s. He had a great voice. A local boy who did good!

He doesn't have a lot of screen time in "Funny Girl," but I have always loved his interpretation of Flo Ziegfeld.
