You need really sharp scissors to do this properly. If the scissors aren't sharp enough there'll be a lot of tugging.

Uh, she didnt explain how to do it! did she cut every 3rd or 4th hair strand or what?

for those who didn't understand.....it's a texturising technique with shears open a lil bit and grabbing the hair and pull it out to cut.......hope it makes some sense.
