  • Your dreads look really good (and thanks 4 subb'in, appreciate da support) But I HAD to address the sea salt, lol. Now I am a earth lover, I use alot of remedies from nature (pure oils, plant roots, etc.) but I dont think that using sea salt on your hair is good. Salt can be very stripping and harsh. I do use sea salt though in my brown sugar body scrubs (It removes a layer of dead skin to produce an awesome glow) and for mouth washing. You should try a baking soda rinse... Look it up on utube.

  • Locs r looking good!! Have u considered using natural haircare products such as Carol's Daughter, Taaliah Wajid, etc. I've never tried Jamaica lime products but, I see alot of people with locs use it. How long have u been locing and from what method did u start?

  • I'm going hard with my dreads too. I recently posted a pic on my facebook with me and a wig and soooo many people thought I cut off my hair, and some lied it. But I thought, why would I cut it off?!? I'm not even at a year yet!!! So I'm still experiencing dreads! And that loc/twist gel does not not work on my hair too. It did work for two strand twists though. BTW. Thanks for subbing

  • Cool Video. I never heard of using SeaSalt. You're doing the right thing by trying different hair products and finding works best for you. No that my locs are mature I used Suave shampoo and conditioner. I don't spend a lot of money on products. Onelove

  • Love your locs they look good and youre doing a great job with the self maintenance. U doing the right thing by not using all of those commercial products your locs will thank u.

I never knew you guys knew bout Lovers Rock, with that song 'In love with a Dreadlocs' its a style of Reggae the is distinctively British.

  • locks look goood man when u gonna make anotha update?

  • yeah no wax fo me neither. I didnt no about soakin yo hair in the sea salt, but I do use it in a spray bottle to mist my hair. Got it from prettiboi shai.
