Pt. Dinkarrao Deshpande Raga Gara

Raga Gara:-"Mohmmad saya mero rangeela" by Pt. Dinakaraao alias Bhayyasaheb Deshpande
• Pt. Dinkarraao Deshpande (popularly known as Bhayyasaheb) is one of the greatest artist from Vidarbha(Amaravati). He belongs to Kirana Gharana.

• We found much similarity between him and Ustad Abdul Karim Khan Saheb in case of approaching the voice. Bhayyaji's scale was Safed 4 or Kali 4. Due his melodies voice and such a high scale , he blossomed his style with Kirana frame.

• "He was recognized for his aesthetic sense and unique style of notations(Sargam). Even his Taan never ever had a touch of artificial voice or any excess throw to make it impressive. His melodies voice was enough to enthrall people. His lagav was completely a Hindu style Lagav. Despite of this, we found that his Taan was like a Thunder Strom, with a great Firat."

• He is a top class artist of All INDIA RADIO.

• "He was also a good Harmonium player and have accompanied
Master Dinaanaath Mangeshkar and many legendary artists."

• Amravati was one favorite place for any artist from India to perform and Bhayyaji
was a person who make the audience as Kaansen.

• He was a good friend of Pt. Bhimsen Joshi , Pt. Vasantraao Deshpande and many
other artist and used to share the musical concepts , bandish with them.

• He has performed in Sawai Gandharva Mahotsav in 1971-72.

• Unfortunately he passed away on 20th August 2011 , at 91.
• Salute to such a great artist.

it's very unfortunate that Bhayyaji is no more now. on 20th of August,2011 he passed away.......but his Sur is eternal,endless....
