A cover of a lovely instrumental from the first Bert Jansch album. Weird and wonderful chords. I originally learned this, not entirely successfully, by needle dropping from the vinyl, but thanks to some helpful tab I've got it sorted now.

Recorded with my new microphone, a Shure SM57, using Zoom-H4 as an audio interface to a laptop web cam. Not sure whether or not it is an improvement over using the inbuilt mic's, What do you think? I think I am using the same Elixir strings as I put on late July (!).

  • @BangYai Thanks very much. I recorded it on a cloudy day so the webcam didn't keep up, which is annoying. Must redo. It is tricky - I forget a different piece of it each time I don't play it for a while.

  • Very nice. Not one of Janschs easiest songs to learn but you've got the timing and feeling for it pretty well. Keep it up.
