I'll post a video of my setup with the CompM4. You can co-witness the optic with your BUIS and it gives you a perfect sight picture. I am not bias in the Aimpoint over the Eotech because I believe ultimately it is personal preference. There is pros and cons to both, so I suggest you go to a store and look through both to see which one is right for you.

I'm glad to see your getting aquainted with your iron sights before getting any optics. Alot of people fail to do this and get into a jam if they ever needed to use them. I've had the Trijicon ACOG, EOTech 552 and the Aimpoint Comp ML3 and yes they are big investments. I now have the Aimpoint CompM4 which I have found to perform great. Great battery life (constant on for 5 years on one AA) way better than Eotechs, but is personal preferance. My choice goes to the Aimpoint CompM4 all the way.

Yea i think buying an optic before being familiar with your Irons is as dumb as buying an optic and not having irons at all! lol

@NMpros uh yeah no aim point all the way why cause I been to Iraq with both of em when it rains eo tech is useless looks all pretty an neat when the water hits the microscopic dirt is all over it. Dude, if you wanna reduce the weight on the handguard.. try the Magpul MOE handguard.. made of Polymer and durable.. actualy, if you wanna make changes in your rifle.. go MAGPUL on everything.. very good prices and excelent quality.. check out their stuff.. out,

@andrewlevino why drop the mag if it isnt' loaded. Im pretty sure even if it was loaded nothing would happen. his finger isnt in the trigger well and hes not pointing the rifle near him. Just saying why judge. im sure he knows how to handle his own firearm. No hard feelings
