  • You guys clearly dont camp. go back to your computer desk and start coding. FAIL

  • This video cracks me up, how funny is their attempts to use a spirit stove. I want them to do a knife review, it would be hilarious.

  • @DedHedJosh

Those stoves are for stupid people. Buy a 530 or M-1950 they burn gasoline and actulay work in the cold, Not to mention they are much cheaper to use and hot enough to actualy cook something on.

I have a mini van that I sleep in with a foam roll up, much more comnfortable and it has room for my little johnson and Toyo boat.

If you rough it your younger and fitter than I am, I just as soon drive and make camp than walk around like a tourist.

A 500 is still the best cooking stove.

  • @northerbrewer You obviously do not go backpacking. These stoves are small and lightweight for backpackers. Not for camping. Yeah a big hunk of stove will work great when you walk 100 ft. from your car to camp. Which IMO isn't really camping anyways but there ya go. THese cups would have boiled a lot faster with windscreens. Most of these stoves are excellent for backpacking and work well when using them correctly.

  • Boys, boys, you do not know how to use the triangia stove. You can not use it the way you tried

  • dude.....i'm 14 and i know more than these retards do about stoves.

and you're obviously not using the trangia stove the way you should because it doesn't just "crap out"

you need to understand all the products before you try (and fail) to make what could have been a great review.

  • @phrankus2009 I cant, I dont camp so I have no idea really. Not being sarcastic but could you please enlighten me.

  • What the hell... why didn't you include the Soto OD-1R in your test???? Soooo sad :-(

  • Why not include a camp stove also? it might be the fastest! i will be buying the crappy Trangia-packin lite :)

  • the only design aspect you are testing seems to be speed to boil. that dose not matter to me i look for weight or availability of fuel,or price or durability. i could go all day test to see what stove is the best over all. come on guys you both have great shows. take a tip from myth busters make a chart or something useful.

  • Trangia stoves do not "fail" or "crap out"- they are probably THE most dependable stove on the market. Read the directions next time. You do not set a pot directly on the Trangia, you set a pot on a stand or windscreen about an inch above it.

  • You guys are idiots! You don't even know how to use the simplist, time tested stove in the lot.
