Aliens vs Predator DEMO :: Predator Commentary/Tips and Tricks :: Part 2

Hey guys svm here with the tips and tricks video for Aliens Vs Predator. This will be part 2 for the Predator as well as the final set for the tips and tricks videos. Please be reminded that this is a DEMO version in the game and some things may be altered in the final product.


As I said before these videos wont cover melee attacks and stealth kills so heres a informitive video for beginners.

In this gameplay I try go over some tips and such for the predator. I play sort of aggressively and have my ups and downs kill wise because of this. In this part I get a better feel for the game and start doing a bit better. I do recommend using the trip mines though. Depending on what type of player you are theres always stealthy or aggressive. I find doing the right mix of both helps. Not so much camping a room is being stealthy. Its more so just moving around constantly "without being seen". With that being said enjoy and expect part 2 shortly!

After the full game is released I plan on doing more detailed videos, thus being a proper tutorial. Take these as more of a commentary of gameplay with tips and tricks. Thanks.

Well it depends. If you want to know more about the story you should start off with the predator. However if you have never played the game before or your looking for a few good scares the Marine campaign may be best for you at first.

It depends on what platform your using. On the 360 I usually end up pressing either the left and right triggers or bumpers like crazy and that seems to do it. Which the bumpers would be light attack and heavy attack for other platforms. So find out what button your heavy and light attack is and press those while your grabbed. Not positive if its different though so beware!

Yes they do but they only have their light attack which doesn't seem to vary that much between the weapons. Basiclly melee is just a last resort thing for a Marine and stops aliens and predators from instantly heavying you. Shotguns and melees are key for close quarters as a marine. Rifle is also great if used right.

When your using focus mode attack with either the alien or predator you can only light attack. When you lock onto them in focus mode as predator and hit light attack the jump is automatic. Dont forget that the marine, of course does not have a focus mode in case you were wondering.

You should be able to hit the alternate fire button and it should stop. Its different for all platforms button wise but it should be your alternate fire button. When you focus mode as a alien your holding your alternate fire button so that might help to.

Ya funny you mention that. I actually started doing that recently and so many people hated me for it XD. So I was going to show them that sort of thing whenever I get the full game and have a proper tutorial based video :P. Thanks for the tip though!

For me, the trophy kill is my main move. I rarely use anything but the wristblades. I usually like sticking to high ground and keeping away until I get one alone.
