This video clip from "RV Today" deals with flushing the tanks. Stew Oleson and Bill Gehr show you a way to flush your tanks right from the holding tank so you don't have to stick a tube down the toilet. Be sure to consult a professional about your rig model, to ensure the best way to install new piping.

  • beeing a plumber one thing comes to mind,,, cross contamination of the potable drinking water,,

should have some kind of check vale on there,

any time black water and potaoble water can cross is a concern..

    .just my opinion..

    see ya on the road

im the guy pullin the white trailer that keeps waving at you when we pass on the road

  • You could just make a length of hose out of whatever you want. You just need a hose piece long enough to reach a fresh water spigot, this water powers the tornado to flush the tank, its a hose that would only be used for that purpose.

  • @hayesworld2 yes I was thinking the same thing. a novice could get confused, and have a serious cross contamination problem.

  • Why is the white hose (potable water) hooked up to the waste tank? I hope it's just an oversight.
