Ian Bremmer (Eurasia Group) and Joel Rosenthal (Carnegie Council) discuss Russia, Iran, and Turkey. What does the U.S. need to know about these countries for 2009? Are US issues the same as those of other countries?
This is a segment of a Carnegie Council interview. For more, go to http://www.cceia.org

  • If you really wants to influence the European Union, then you have support the idea, to create the SOUTH EAST EUROPEAN UNION by Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary, which countries will be the KEEPER of the ENERGY CORRIDOR !!!

  • If the EU leadership wants a real solution for Turkey EU membership, then they must help the Russians and the Americans to prepare the SOUTH EAST EUROPEAN UNION with Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary later this year 2010. SO BE IT !

  • @MrDimitris if you ask me, greece is whats going to bring the e.u down.lol

  • @MrDimitris You could have checked his profile to find out the guy is HUNGARIAN,

    You're ignorant Hellas,

  • @kekvirag111 turkey is not a country that eu could decide to locate it wherever they want to.....

  • As someone can easily suspect, kekvirag111 is a Turk.

Bulgaria and Hungary are already in the EU. Serbia will also be in, in a decade at the most. So why will they go for this southeast union? For being a corridor? come on, ridiculous!

  • The Russians and the Americans could have common interest in the South East European area where both countries started with a massive ENERGY CORRIDOR plan through Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary. If the Russians and the Americans going to help these South East European countries to unite into a ONE STATE, into one economy, then they can protect the safe operation of the common energy corridors!!!
