Gameplay from Knuckles playing on the Memotech MTX512. Retro Gaming.

This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It's more a case of me speaking my thoughts while playing the games, many for the first time, and most for the first time in a very long time... so it's all a little spontaneous and random.
Predictably, as I never practice before recording, I usually play very badly.

Given that I am playing many of these games for the first time, and everything I say is completely off the cuff, you probably shouldn't take what I say overly seriously. The opinions that I express are my feelings at the time, but it's entirely possible that they would be different if I were to take the time to get to grips with the game.

However, given that these videos are intended to show that "first time experience", I believe they have some validity or merit.

  • Pingu !! BWAA WAAAAAAA ! Hahaha... it is just Pengo though yes.

  • @mathowlett Pingu has the most awesome trumpet-mouth :D

  • oh look, it's 1.30am... must be time for another video from Steve. :P

I'll be honest, this looks bloody frustrating. It's the kind of game I'd get really annoyed with after 30 seconds, turn it off & never play it again, lol.

  • @a3HeadedMonkey I'm nothing if not erratic with my uploads :D

  • @a3HeadedMonkey as a night dweller, i love seeing new videos from Steve pop up at 2AM :) Otherwise, I have to start digging for my systems for a fix, and that means i have to find the matching midi-cable-turned-composite-cable and power for the system. A fan from the beginning, Jayson :)

  • Blimey It's a Pengo variant. :)

  • looks like hungry horace on the spectrum

  • Why was there Sonic and Barney music in the game. What drugs were they on whilst making this?

  • It's a rather fucked up clone of Mr "Daring" Do in the Arcade and on the AMIGA.

  • lol 3.10 secs - simple but funny "Arse"

    the spawning looks abit harsh.

  • 5:45 - tell YouTube that!!! ;)

Anyway: looks like a decent little game when you get the hang of it.

To: "win", you had to line those 3 squares up, presumably touching one another.

Maybe it was just because you were new to it but the controls *seemed* clunky to me.

    Good SWILL! :D

  • I want to know why steve doesnt have some sort of forum of sorts for easier discussion of these games xD

  • From seeing this now... total Pengo clone, not bad but not good really.

I guess they didn't have enough in the game budget to but C's in the game instructions eh Steve, haha!

  • The soundtrack is so random! there are about 3 well known tunes just being butchered in no particular order, seems like an interesting game but nothing fantastic, i still like this system though
