Larry Scapecchi is a 25 year law enforcement veteran of the Escambia County Sheriffs Office. Larry retired in January 2007 as a Lieutenant. During his 25 years of service, Larry has held the positions of Correctional Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Sheriffs Sergeant and Sheriffs Lieutenant. His capacity as a supervisor included Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Narcotics Section, OIC Precinct 2/ Big Lagoon Uniform Patrol Division and OIC of Property Investigations north.
That person is correct the cops are under educated under trained under supervised. Most cops also suffer from ptsd and the gov fail to provide treatment.
To be a cop it should be 24 to 36 MONTHS school a state lic test after the schooling, No wonder we have problems with cops not knowing what the hell they are doing
