That's correct. This will work on iPod 2nd Gen, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS provided you have upgraded to version 3.0 of the software.
I just received an email from Apple. They wanted me to have the icon on the iPhone and in the App store to be the same. A very minor issue which I have fixed and reloaded the file. So hopefully it will be available in iTunes in the next few days. I will post a link when it is there.

So if you download the game on 2.2.1 or earlier, this wont work since 3.0 utilizes the bluetooth chip in the iPod.
this works for all iPhones.
This does not work for iPod touch 1st Generation, even if you are on 3.0.
