Samsung White Dots

This video is to help out folks recognize the "White Dots Plague on their Samsung DLP set. THere is a VERY INFORMATIVE forum on the net that, at the time of this publication, has already 195 posts. I cannot stress enough the importance to read ALL of those posts if you plan on doing anything about this problem other than throwing away the set, it will be well worth the hour you are going to take to go through it all. On post #166 I tried to summarize a lil bit the whole thing. Arm yourself with pencil, eraser and paper before you start reading, you will need to make some notes and you will need to update the notes as you go forward (thus the eraser)

i got one white dot but the problem is its as if i can peck at it as if summit came out of the screen like a plastice kind

dont know how many people i can help but after numerous calls to samsung. with the same story of its 3yrs old and out of warranty finaly got in touch with a women named tabitha personal # 18005227341 ext 82334 she was really cool gave me a free one time replacement no parts or labor cost. soon as its done im selling that garbage

this problem is no just on the samsung DLP's, its on all DLP's I have a 73 in mitsubiti and I have the same problem

@icu4dk call samsung and complaint about it they are aware of the issue dont let them fool you. They are not paying for service and chip part for the repair. good luck!
