If I may, though, towards the end, when you sing "big nothing," don't stay on the minor the whole time: start on the major and then go to the minor.

No, tune down a whole step, then tune D A D F# A D. After you tune down a whole step, tune both E strings down a whole step to D, tune your G string down a half step to F#, and tune your B string down a whole step to A. This will give you the same tuning as on the album. I used a capo because that day it was probably easier for me to sing it in that key.
