i have one more question.
i am trying to sample a record from my turntable directly into maschine.
i have a small berringer 502 mixer and an audio 2 dj soundcard.
i dont really know how to set it up though.

Ok, you are almost there. I have posted three videos going though the steps. You are going to need to plug the output of the turntable or output of your mixer into the input of you audio 2 dj sound card. Then within Maschine software, audio/midi setup you define the input from your sound card where you plug-ins what you want to record from.

I own many but in this video I am using the built-in audio off the Apple mac book pro.
I have a 1/8" cable to the ZT guitar amp.
