@Hooli020 Ah ok by f12 you mean a rendered view. What you're trying to do is set up a world background.

@pinkytm1 I know, but I can see the image in 3d view but not in the f12 view.

Thanks! This really helped me out, but now the normal controls aren't working anymore! When i place a cube over the image i can go into edit mode, but then it won't let me grab the corners. I know it's command, left click, but it won't work. i also don't have a numpad but i switched it so i can use the numbers on the top instead. HELP!

@2001MuffinMan You right click to select a point to grab. You can type "b" to box select a number of points(vertices I think there called). Cross hairs will appear and then just use mouse to box around the vertices.Then type "g" to grab them.

@2001MuffinMan i think I was selecting right view. Or side view. Numpad 3 is the same thing.
