I FOUND A MAJOR MISTAKE IN THIS MOVIE. Right before this scene they say their goodbyes if you look on the top of the screen you can see cars passing by on the road or highway.

@aCroatianSensation I think a bigger mistake was the writers thinking they knew better and writing in Alice's character. =P I find it ironic that Carlos, who I hated in the games, become the only character I gave a damn about in the films... Xp

Back in the days when Raccoon city outbreak occured , Carlos was just like every soldier hired and sent to resist against undead in a Raccoon's downtown. His all comrades (Nikolai , Yuri) died, he also got bit by zombified Yuri , but he was cured with anti-t antidote. He become a hero after his last stand...
