Slaughter, a former dean of Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a former director of policy planning at the U.S. State Department, gave her talk, "Drones, Detentions and the Dilemmas of 21st-Century Foreign Policy" on April 19.

The annual Abraham lecture is sponsored by the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression.
