But I would say it was MTV that destroyed the 90's before it was even over.
While I hate rap, pop, and anything made with pro tools only and no instrumental talent to speak of....

The real world, road rules, and TRL sealed the fate of the essence of the 90's and raped it.
I remember I use to just put a blank vhs and record mtv,then I'd replay the videos and learn the songs by ear on my guitar.
Those were great times

I truely honestly completely miss the 1990's, especially for the music. It truely was the last great era for music. Fucking rap and pop stars killed it off so any retard can make easy money with no challenge from people with some shred of talent.
