I can understand, for example, the tensions between Hassidic jews and blacks, or the tension between working-class blacks and immigrant communities.

I'm especially disgusted though, with the hate for gays.

You seem to think that giving gays civil rights will somehow weaken your civil rights.

Even the physical patterns of intimacy practiced by homosexuals, that you so object to (as if it's your business), aren't done by all gays.

And not all straight couples produce children.

Do you look down on infertile couples?

Also, according to polls, the majority of "sodomy" is committed by STRAIGHT people.

So, what about that?

Or, is it only bad when gay people do it?

@SiqAnTired No, there is absolutely no consensus that this "activity" is unhealthy or perverted.

In-fact, the opposite is true, that this *lifestyle* is healthy and normal human behavior, and that some of us will be that way.

I don't see how some small percent of our population not engaging in child-birthing is a threat to the continued existence of the human race.

If anything, gay couples are good, since they raise children that straight couples dispose of.

@SiqAnTired I am not going to fall into the trap of analyzing sexual orientation.

Viewed the right way, almost any aspect of our personality and our selves, is, to some degree, a choice.

We may be able to consciously over-ride, or offset, our programmed evolutionary directives.

I'm sure that some gay people (probably latently bisexuals) can, with effort, be happy living a straight lifestyle, but, nobody should be coerced into doing that, as homosexuality isn't unhealthy, or wrong.
