This is great. I've been a big Mike Campbell fan for 25+ years for the same reason most of you are. I learned a lot from him that did me well in 25 years of playing live in local bands. Play inside the song and remember a good hook is everything. In my opinion his best work came after this was recorded. A under rated player.

@theart1rm Before anyone goes to correct me. I just corrected myself. I pulled up a Jeff Lynne interview. And now I know Mike is the smooth good looking face and Jeff is the bearded good looking face. Glad I cleared that up.

@TheBeatles433 I'm with you hear, but I don't see Mike. I just see alot of great guitar by Jeff Lynne. I would be thinking maybe I got Mike & Jeff mixed up, except Mike has his mustache. Always has to my knowledge. Please correct me if I am wrong. Mike, Jeff, George all played Slide Guitar.

The American George Harrison IMO....perfect notes every time that do not stick out yet each song is so much less without them. The perfect guitar player that complements a master songwriter.
