  • Thanks ye im not sure if to get a fx series or Trek’s 7000 series are them bikes alot slower i wana fast road bike that i can use on maybe dirt paths and around the park and stuff

  • @simonheart007 You could get an FX series frame and put thicker rimmed wheels/tyres on. That would probably suit you better

  • hey boss can u jump off pavements onto road with this

  • @simonheart007 The frame is a bit stiff to do it smoothly, it's a hybrid road racing bike. I have done it (to skip/hop/jump around traffic) a fair few times but it's not the most comfortable thing in the world

  • @simonheart007 The FX series is fine for packed dirt paths. Serious trails should be tackled with a rigid 29er and still have respectable speed on the road. It's not smart to buy a bike then replace the wheels right away.. because the wheels are the most expensive part of the bike!

  • ive got the 2009 version, bought it for $447, it was on sale! best bike ever had

  • I got a 7.3 myself, very light & smooth. Will a Carbon fork make a big difference?

  • @projektmayhem ya ive dont it many time before. i do it very slowly cause it hurts. the frame is definately touch enough to do it, but only when you have to shuold u do it
