Asteroids running on my Scope Clock with AVR ATmega168 programmed in C and D7-16 GJ. This is plain vanilla, there is no level manager yet.

  • @acoustic61 I don't know what you mean by "vector generator". The graphics are generated all in software. This includes text and font generation, moving and rotating objects, collision detection, ... Lines are drawn using Bresenham's approach, for example. The microcontroller writes every pixel's x/y coordinats as 8-bit values to an external TLC7528N D/A converter. The output voltage of the converter is used to set the tube's x/y deflector voltages and thus the position of the pixel.

  • @liyuancheachea The game runs on a 8-bit microcontroller. The display is a cathode ray tube like used in oscilloscopes.

    Is it a clock? Well, it is what the software makes out of it...
