  • Hes gonna break a cane out on you next time be like, "I TOLD YOU YOUNGIN' TO LEAVE ME ALONE WHILE I BE CLEANIN' MYSELF!! NOW GO GET MEH SOME SUNFLOWER SEEDS BOI!" Btw congrats at having a very beautiful older bird ^-^

  • Turbo is such a beautiful bird

  • were the wings clipped or did you train it not to fly away

  • He ate the camera didn't he? Thats thats why the video ended so suddenly right? Hes really cute!

  • hehe i love turbo the grumpy killer cockatiel. my bird is also kind of a macho, it even hisses when he attacks me but i love my coco

  • I do agree with you that having tiels out side is ok, i just think an avary is better houing if they live outside as they are safer and offer better shelter than just having a cage outside. Also i meant to say that he WOULD NOT be 17 if his owners didn't care for him and look after him.

  • gimmiefoodz: There isn't anything inherently mean, cruel, or sadistic about having pet birds outside. Many pet owners have outdoor aviaries. Remember, cockatiels (and I'm pretty sure just about every parrot) are a wild species somewhere in the world.

It's wrong to assume that Turbo's abused and the video poster's a bad person just because the cage is outside.

  • Seems like every video of a pet bird posted on YouTube has at least one person yelling "THAT'S CRUEL! YOU'RE A BAD PERSON!" no matter what's going on.

You might think yourself the expert authority on cockatiels, but how can you explain why so many videos on YouTube show cockatiels with a camera up in their face, and are clearly not upset or angry by it?

Even good-natured birds have their mean streaks.

  • haha that was funny at the end :)
