Where's Child Protective Services for the Beaman kids!?

Heh. That never even occurred to me. But, the Beamans don't really mistreat their children (it's not like Mrs. B force-fed the scab collection), they just raise 'em weird...really, really weird. Though, I once knew a kid who collected hair; he'd take it from people's brushes (esp his sisters' combs, etc), then put it in a big plastic tube that he kept in his room. Otherwise, he seemed well-adjusted...
But scabs--that's another level altogether!

I have started a scab collection expressly for the purpose of fooling people into thinking they're cereal.
