  • @Dipterans thats a really interesting perspective. i havent thought about the hips too much in a long time. when i started playing basketball, i was taught to play defense by this crazy guy Tony at the ymca. he taught me to look at the defenders hips "because you cant fake with the hips"

  • @Dipterans thanks, there will be more for sure

  • I've recently started practicing Tai Chi, and it's taught me al ot about myself and how I move.

The most important lesson I've learned is that the hips are EVERYTHING. Posture is based around the hips, and the hips generate almost all core body movement. Start being more conscious of the hips and your whole paradigm will shit. YOU ARE YOUR HIPS, they are the center of your entire being.

  • This was completely different than I expected and I'm pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be a guide on how to physically hold ones body, but what you discussed goes much deeper and applies to everyone.

I'd love to watch you speak more on other subjects, you have a great perspective.
