Saying that you can tell things about someone's personality based on the day they were born is no better than saying you can tell things about someone's personality based on the color of their skin. Why do we tolerate one but not the other?

@rondie54 - And your argument is just so logical - "the best and real psychics don't come forward because of the ridicule" - What a piss poor argument that is you tosser. It would help if you even tried to construct any sort of argument instead of slagging off rational enquiry, so much for your critical thinking. Psychics don't come forward because, like you, they are seriously deluded and at some level they realise this. It's YOU who is playing the victim and being a complete arsehole about it

If this guy makes more than $100,000 a year I would be shocked.

@mrjedidja i'm just saying that so far it is more true for me than not true. hey i used to not believe in this, i hated myself at first for believing this - because yeah i know it is not rational - but i just can't say that it is untrue because it does work and sorry you don't see it. p.s. i don't believe in fortune-tellers or divinations - what i believe in is that peoples characteristics/behavior is affected by their star signs because from what i have observed it is true.
-
@yhtomitalmighty it's more likely that you fooled yourself into thinking that it works, when it actually doesnt. lots of research shows that people can easily fool themselves into all sorts of stuff. its FAR more likely than this astrological non-sense.

@trupinoyboo69 ITS CAUSE HE HAS SPIKY HAIR!
okay, really, the reason it survived for so long is no argument at all. it survived because it's a viable business, that's what i think. it's easy to delude people and take their money. that's why we have presentations like these, to kill this non-sense.

@thaiscare psychology is considered a soft science, not "pseudoscience". and some of it is not considered to be proper science (e.g. evolutionary psychology), but that's not the same as pseudoscience.
-
@MrJohndl ahn maybe.... its still considered psuedo/false to at least some people
-
Brian I am subscribing to you because you prove/disprove the most interesting stuff ever
One thing i can't grasp is...why isnt the entire room packed with an audience?? people would have to be real fools to miss something like this
If you did a show in Sydney, Australia...i would make sure to get a bunch of people to see you
-
Sorry you are wrong on this one. Psychology is not pseudoscience. Look it up.
-
@MrJohndl Ummm that doesn't mean it isn't a pseudoscience; pseudoscience simply means false science and because you can not prove psychology as a study and you won't be able to because everyone is different it will always be considered some what a pseudoscience ;P
How can I get this gentleman to speak at my niece's public school ??!!
