Actually that is an iron cross, Originally created in 1813 by King Fredrick III during Prussia's period of 'blood and iron' - their struggle for survival against Napoleon. It was intended to replace other traditional awards during times of war, such as the Order of the Red Eagle or the Pour le Mèrite (known as the Blue Max during WW1). It was not created by "Nazis" if that is what you meant.

Great guy, I have the honor of working out with him. I asked for some help to get started on this and he made me a training buddy! So, don't jump to conclusions without knowing someone guys. He's one of those nice guys out there. Don't know of to many pro's who would invite me to train when they just met me.

Not that bad of a toss, he holds it a bit low and obviously the single step does him no favors but he pulls it quite high and if hed taken the toss more seriously with a bit of a run he could of banged out a must straighter toss

He works out at the same gym I do. He's the biggest dude in the place and has probably the best personality in the place- he brings his kid to training also.

@angusstan not only Americans compete. There competitions here in America, Scotland, France, Belgium, japan, Iceland, and others. It's not an American sport. It was developed by the Scottish and it's just what they called it.

because the sport does not require highlands and the sport was created by the scottish. It is not mandatory that competitors be scottish themselves.
