PSX: Final Fantasy VII - Gameplay Video

Intro, leading up to the first boss fight. Enjoy it in HD. FFVII is one of my all time favorites, no question one of the Playstations top 10. The cinematics and presentation of the game pushed the idea of what an RPG should be. The storyline is long and you'll get about 60+ hours of gameplay if you experience everything the game offers. Even though the story is long, its very impressive and you'll see exactly why fans have been demanding a remake of the game on the PS3.

Update: PS3 owners can now purchase a re-release of this game on the playstation store for $9.99. Play it on your PS3 or PSP.

I can see that they wanted it to be on the Nintendo 64 originally. I've never played this game, but I really want to. Whatever happened to the colourful games of the 90s, like this game, Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64? I know that these games still have a ridiculously big impact, but what's with FPS fandom these days? I love games like Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time, but I think I'd love this if I ever played it.

@TheDeltak Its just old games were more elaborated... their producers put a lot of time into them... nowadays they use same engines over and over, stories are nonsense and you only find blood and killing... old games like zeldas, final fantasys or even the first pokemons were badass

Played the hell out of this and at the time my reading skills sucked lol. My big brother scratched the disc in anger after I pissed him off and that was the end of the game for me.

They should give this game a "Halo Combat Evolved Anniversery" type remake. Re-do all the cutscenes but keep gameplay the same and it would end up playing like Lost Oddyssey or something

It's pathetic how even fucking GAMES are going mainstream. " If you don't play this, then you're not cool." I can't wait until fucking call of duty dies. FFXIII was trash as well. It was made for 10 year old girls who like looking at flashy graphics, and that's about it.
