1958 Plymouth Belvedere Update Part 2 June 11,2011

.....and here is part 2.Hopefully, my garage goes up soon. I'm actually getting a little itchy about starting the resto on the car. I'm also working on my house, as per order from the boss or, I will be living in the camper in my driveway....not the worse thing, considering my "doghouse" is a 33ft park model. Cheers rich6955!

That is going to be a great car when you get it done, the trunk floor was like our 70' Dodge Polara, I fixed it with sheet metal and pop rivits, not the right way to do it but I could not afford to have a pro do it.

The rear fenders on our Dodge was the same way.

my god...your car is O KM.....very nice iron!!! around the fenders...how i like this model, engine is original? what power? 318? 440? i dont know....

@aleangelo Thanks. Engine is original. In American built cars, this engine is a 318. For some reason they called this engine a 313 in Canada but, as far as I know, the engines are identical. Cheers

@rich6955 Thankyou kindly. I will try to be semi-regular with updates. I've actually caught myself petting the fins when I'm beside the car. I love this thing! The wheel covers on the front are stock for a Canadian built Belvedere. US models did not come with these covers. The Dodge ones on the back do not belong to this car. They are vintage but, I'm not sure what they came from. They were a barn find. Cheers!
