It is a hammer dulcimer. It is from a group call Un-Reconstructed.

I loved the music--was that a hammer dulcimer I heard when you were showing the women? Six guys from our unit (3rd Confederate Regt--3rd Arkansas) went to Shiloh this year. I'm hoping some will go out to Gettysburg; I joined in April and would love to go to a large reenactment.

We are mostly from Tennessee and Kentucky.

i use to be a member of the 46th Tennessee...good job with the video....i want to do more reenactments now..but first i have to find the time. ^^
