Dive bombs and meedly-meedlies all over the place with a strong "eau du ballad" throughout. haha cheese fest.
I do respect the super tight playing, and the song structure is not... uninteresting, but this is very far from "brutality". More like "dumped for the first time, but my guitar still loves me".
Good try, but I'll take Cryptopsy's first 2 albums or Gorguts any day. That's actually brutal and still very technical. First 3 Death albums for a true old school sound.

I'm not trying to be some old school elitist but the old school bands wipe any new band that tries to add more notes, tune lower or try to add something redundant. No matter how many guitar lessons you've had or how fast you can drum, you just can't make up for natural talent and inspiration.
