@Canuckmom1958 I have bad news for you! e-coli is present on EVERYTHING in a home regardless of what you are wearing; check out Mythbusters, they did a great segment on it (although a bit scary!)

I'm glad to see other people commenting about the rings. Do these people not undestand the basics of contamination. Those rings are chock full of nasty germs and pathogens...not to mention e-coli from fecal matter, etc. Truly nasty !! Absolutely NO RINGS should be worn when working with food..particularly if this is a commercial set up...unless you want your 150 wedding guests getting a gift they didn't expect..or want (aka cake contaminated with e-coli). If rings don't come off, wear gloves !!
