If you're like me, you love to use amp modeling plugins when you record guitar. The problem becomes, the lack of computer power when these beasts soak it up.

This video will show you how to not only SAVE your computer power, but keep that great tone AND keep the flexibility to change that amp tone whenever you want!

  • I don't know what's wrong with my computer but it freezes temporarily at 0.14 sec into your videos and most of the times they give me this "stoned" face haha *hilarious*

But joking aside...I have never seen anyone!! describe things so easily as you do in your videos...totally amazing! Subscription guaranteed!

  • @fridrikur "Freezing the track"? Thats such a smooth simple solution! How come Ive never thought about that? I use Reaper hosting Guitar Rig 4. Reaper doesnt have a true mono channel, so my problem is double than this case here. I will look for if Reaper has this feature as well. Thanks for the info and thanks Graham!

  • @recoerdingrevolution Thank you Graham..... Dude i stumble upon your video, and it really helped me out.... thanks again..........

  • What I do is:

    - Create 2 tracks

    - Insert SIM in one of them

    - Then I set the output of the SIM track to a Bus 1

    - I set Bus 1 as the input of the Blank track

    - I arm both tracks, record and remove the recording of the SIM track.

    It's faster than printing audio.

  • Hello Graham!

Thak you for the info! It really helped me out using a virtual intrument plugin that uses a lot of CPU.

    Mad props!!!!!

  • great vid, this is gunna help me alot! you made it seem almost too simple lol thanks!

  • You explained it very clear thorough. This technique is called print to audio. Some DAW programs have the ability to do this by freezing the track.

  • Thanks!
