This guy was the lead player of the famous " Red Machine" of Soviet icehockey. Back in those days everyone knew that Soviets will win, the thrill was to guess 2nd and 3rd places :) We Finns never had a chance back then. Salute to Russian hockey!

Not the goals he scored, but himself; he was the master piece and the goals are only thin lines around his name!
Kharlamov was better than any player I have ever seen play. This include Lemieux, Gretzky, Orr, Bourque, etc. I have seen footage of all great players, but to this date, Kharlamov is the only player of 70s to have really impressed me; others were more rough than skillful.
