This is my favorite album by Sylvester. I like the jazz influence along with the great singing by Martha Wash and Izora Rhodes. I still have the album, which I bought in 1977, when it was released. I used to love seeing Sylvester perfom at the Palms Cafe on Polk St. in SF. The people would fill the sidewalks just to hear the music. The same held for the Elephant Walk bar and the Castro St. fair, along with other places. I really loved his live performances and miss him very much.

I listened to this album, over and over, when I was a child, then a teenager, in our tiny flat in a tiny town in the north of France. This music so warm and enriching. Incredible voice too. Great memory.

SYLVESTER is still on top, even though he's unfortunately not around us any longer. He was without doubt one of the worlds greatest singers EVER. I really hope he's singing in heaven now... And if he does, well, then I don't mind sitting on a misty cloud FOREVER!

I still have a hard time understanding why this particular track doesn't get more love. Homophobia perhaps?
